Glad I was able to stop by this place. It was well worth it. Down the street from Jackson Square. Ambiance: There two sections for dining. One to have more open seating and the other was more enclosed inmate dining. Service: If you plan to visit, I recommend requesting for Erineesh to be one of your waiters. She provided exceptional service and greeting. Her co-workers were also helpful and provided great service as well. Every knowledgeable about the menu and was willing to assist with any questions or concerns I might have had at my time of dining. Food: I was very impressed with the selection of food and of course the taste of the food. Again, everything was good cooked to order and was willing to modify anything that I wanted on the menu. I enjoyed the portion size and the price of the meal was very reasonable. Overall: I would recommend this place for dinner or lunch. It is in the heart of the French Quarter and it is walking distance from Bourbon Street.

Good service. Wasn't overly crowded. The blacken red fish was delicious. The green been a were good and the roasted potatoes were a perfect accompaniment. The taste of New Orleans was amazing, but way too much for 1 person. While all four were tasty the favorite was the gumbo. We had the banana foster tini which was an amazing drink/dessert.

Just ate here again in November 2024. I went for the Ponchartrain which consisted of Excellent Redfish and crab topping and came with multi-colored potatoes and green beans. You can get it fried w pecan or blackened. They have 2 pound lobsters. Specialty is oysters and std NOLA fare jambalaya gumbo etc. Gumbo was very good in 2017. Didn't get it this time. Caesar salad was huge and very good (only $12). We had the cookery trio as an appetizer (very good). Since we mentioned that we returned they gave us bread putting for free even though we were stuffed! It was awesome. They also have a ghost in the courtyard by the fountain. Please ask for Justin !! He was hands down the best part of this place -- made me come back a second time because he was so great! The next time I had Brandon -- he was just as amazing !!! Oysters raw were better than the charbroiled ones in my opinion . The gumbo yaya is chicken and sausage BUT MIX IT WITH THE RED BEANS AND RICE ( Justin was on to something ) Crawfish étouffée was phenomenal! So much crawfish I couldn't believe it Gator bites are a GO with or without the sauce . The bread pudding was a treat from Justin and baby I tipped him for it cuz my god it was heaven on earth . We sat outside the first trip and it was so beautiful. The next night we sat inside but it was freezing in there lol just being a jacket

Interesting place, outdoor courtyard and friendly staff. We ordered alligator bites, firecracker shrimp to start. Both very good Entrees were Shrimp n catfish platter New Orleans sampler Tenderloin medallions Dessert Bananas foster bread pudding Bananas foster cheesecake Pleanut butter something. lol

We had the stuffed avocados to start with a couple of hurricanes! We sat right by the window because it was too hot for the patio - we really enjoyed it. Our dinner was the crawfish and etouffe & chicken/sausage jambalaya. Absolutely delicious - I thought I wouldn't be able to finish it but it was just that good!
